I receive emails & phone calls on a regular basis from hunters who have purchased Blackfoot Designs products. Most never realised about predator & prey animals & most didn't realise their real life camos were actually working against them. They have now seen the light!

I walked out on to the track and looked to my right and noticed a dark shaped blob, it was my hunting partner about 45 metres down the track. It was not until he was 3 to 5 metres away that I noticed his (real tree) camo started to work. There and then I knew my camo was not working. I looked up to my left saw a hand waving, it was our other hunting partner who I had not noticed until he waved. He wears blackfoot and now I do as well!! It's the best money I have spent on hunting in the last ten years. Here are some photos of the proof. Thanks Blackfoot - Pat Burke |

As a professional shooter/trapper I contract for a lot of Government departments and I can’t afford any equipment failure while I’m out in the field, therefore I buy the best gear I can get my hands on. I think I met Dave Greig from Blackfoot Designs at one of the trade shows some years ago, I was interested in the clothing line he sold, being a motor trimmer by trade I can appreciate the strength and work gone into his clothing, the pattern seamed a bit unusual at the time but I could see how it could work. Not long after Dave and I caught up to fit me out in some of his gear, he explained why and how he came up with the pattern and how it works, I haven’t looked back since, the stuff is awesome, I have hunted, stalked, ambushed and got closer to more game with his gear than any other, whether I’m working in hot marshy areas or climbing rainforest covered mountains, the 100% cotton keeps you cool and comfortable. I still wear the same gear I bought five years ago and it has had some major work outs and is still going strong. If any young blokes wanting to get into my line of work I always tell them to buy the best gear you can get because your life could depend on it, and Dave at Blackfoot is a great place to start. Thanks Dave you have let me experience wildlife a whole lot closer. Mark Sobierajski |
Some comments about your Braves and Red Crow Shirt. I was hunting north of Charters Towers. Both where extremly comfortable. The Braves Camouflage worked well in the area I was in. The Red Crow shirt in the lightweight fabric was the most comfortable shirt I have worn. Greg Hocking QLD |

| While feral pig hunting on The Cape York Peninsula, Brad Smith, Jake Goodwin, and I did a test with various camo clothing using Brad's video camera. At first we stood behind vegetation with no discernable difference between the clothing. However, it was when we stood in front of the vegetation, that we noticed a big variation in patterns. It was your blotchy pattern that was far superior to the ones that Jake and I wore. It became apparent that your blotchy pattern broke up the human silhouette better than the other patterns. We were all impressed with the test. As I will return to the Cape towards late October, I will use your camo on actual hunts. ...... Bob Hart. NSW |
Just want to let you know that I have proved that your camo gear is 100% effective, I have given up using carbon and lead when fox whistling and now just use a pick handle as that is how close I can get the foxes in and I am conviced that is since I have been using your gear. But I suppose you already knew that....... Bruce Oliver. NSW Thanks for your time and valuable assistance as usual....... Steve Baum. NSW. |
* I bought some clothing from you in September, and used it on a hunt. It worked well, and kept the thorns away. Rajiv Karnik. NSW * The camouflage qualities of Blackfoot Design's break-up pattern clothing are truly amazing. I have used the clothing and face veil on four different hunting trips and on each occasion they have proved their worth...... Peter Sipek. NSW |

Hi Dave just thought I'd send a photo of a Fallow stag I took with the bow on a recent hunt I went on. Thanks to your camo gear I was able to get within 18 yards of the deer and put in a good shot and I'm farely confident he still hadn't seen me. Thanks mate the camo's great stuff and so was your service. Cheers from Tim in Tamworth. |
Hi Dave here's a couple more photos, one of a goat i shot and my mate Ben's stag he also shot on the trip.He was equally impressed with the Blackfoot gear and said it really seemed to make a difference in helping him close the gap on a top trophy. It was Ben's first good black fallow stag and measured around 214 douglas points. |
